Arvid V. “Vic” Jacobson
A Kansas native, Vic Jacobson was born and raised in the city of Lawrence. He graduated from the University of Kansas with a bachelor's degree in anthropology and political science in 1969. He then went on to receive his Juris Doctorate from the University of Kansas in 1972.
Vic has served as president of the Military Law Section of the Kansas Bar Association, making him especially equipped to handle military family law. He is also a member of the Riley County and Kansas (Family Law Section) Bar Associations and a fellow of the Kansas Bar Foundation. Vic is admitted to practice before the Kansas state courts and federal court of Kansas.
Vic's areas of practice include divorce, both contested and uncontested, child custody, including Hague Convention actions involving the international abduction of children, and paternity.
